This large scale sculptural piece was created for the new creative office space Arrive in White Tower, MediaCityUK, Salford. It spans 3 floors high and 20 metres long.
Coalescence means to grow together, to unite so as to form one mass, one community.
The installation provides a visual metaphor for the space it now lives alongside: a dynamic environment in which many disparate elements can move and grow collectively, forming new connections and interactions giving rise to new formations and interplays.
The viewers visual sense of the installation constantly shifts as the formations and colours interact in different ways from numerous heights and viewpoints throughout the building.
